Some of the best ideas don’t come from business plans or long brainstorming sessions. Sometimes, they come from a child’s imagination.
Our story began when our daughter was just eight years old. One afternoon, she was sitting at the table with a jar of honey in front of her. She looked up with a grin and said “We should call it Beeyond Hippies with two e’s!” We laughed at the clever play on words but the name stuck. It captured something we couldn’t quite put into words at the time a mix of creativity, family, and the joy of simple living.
That playful spark turned into a path we never expected. At first we were simply sharing honey. Soon, we began experimenting with beeswax salves and lip balms. Each recipe felt like a small act of care something useful, natural, and nourishing. From there, our creativity spread in new directions. Pottery became a natural extension of our work.

Beeyond Hippies grew slowly, piece by piece, just like our handmade items. It has never been about rushing or mass production. Instead, it’s about creating things with intention — objects that feel good to use and meaningful to give. Every salve, every cup, every piece of pottery tells a little part of our family’s journey.
What keeps us going isn’t just the products themselves but the connections they create. When someone chooses a lip balm we made or drinks tea from one of our mugs, they’re holding a story that started in our kitchen and studio. That story is about family, nature, and a love for making things by hand.
Beeyond Hippies isn’t just a name. It’s a reminder of where we started with a jar of honey, a child’s imagination, and a dream that grew into something beautiful.
